I was fortunate to grab this perfect crossing at the 12 Metre World Championships, it was an overcast day with a fair breeze on Narragansett Bay off Newport, Rhode Island. US33, "Defender" is on starboard tack which means they have the right of way and K22, "Victory "83" has to stay out of their way. In this moment that Defender is in the lead, being able to cross in front of Victory '83 who has to fall behind the stern of the other boat on their port tack. The classic America's Cup regatta from where these yachts were born uses the "match racing" format which pits two boats against each other. So, this crossing becomes a pivotal moment in the race. And it looks cool too! I offer it here up to 44" on the long side but special editions are available above that all the way up to 60" on the long side.
